As muenka.com, we attach great importance to processing and preserving your personal data in accordance with Personal Data Protection Law no. 6698 (the "Law"). We would like to inform our customers about the purposes and methods by which we collect, process and transfer personal data, and about the rights arising for you under the Law.

Methods of collecting personal data

As MUENKA, acting as data controller and within the framework of our legal obligations, we collect your personal data verbally, in writing or electronically — through our website, social media channels, mobile applications and similar means — for purposes such as enabling you to benefit from our brand's services, informing you about our campaigns where you have consented, recording your suggestions and complaints, establishing better service standards, and determining and implementing commercial and business strategies.

Processing of personal data and purposes of processing

As MUENKA, acting as data controller, personal data and/or special categories of personal data obtained with your consent through our contact channels, social media pages, mobile channels and any other channel may be obtained in whole or in part, recorded, stored, kept, altered, updated, checked periodically, reorganised, classified, and retained for the period necessary for the purpose of processing or foreseen in the relevant law. Where legally or practically required by the service, it may be shared with or transferred to private or legal persons with whom MUENKA works, to public institutions to which it is legally obliged to disclose, and/or to relevant third parties resident in Türkiye or abroad, and may be transferred abroad.

We inform you that MUENKA may process your personal data for purposes such as enabling customers to benefit from our brand's services, informing you about our campaigns where you have consented, recording your suggestions and complaints, establishing better service standards, and determining and implementing commercial and business strategies — in every case in accordance with Law no. 6698 and related legislation.

Transfer of personal data

MUENKA may share your personal data only on the basis of your explicit consent, or within the security and confidentiality principles set out in the Law with adequate measures in place, in Türkiye and — where the necessary security measures are taken — abroad, for the purposes of carrying out Company activities, establishing the business relationship between data subjects and our customers, holding discussions to that end, providing services, opportunities and possibilities, and improving service quality. Recipients may include our business partners, the customers and suppliers with whom we have agreements as required by our activities, audit firms, and public institutions authorised by law to request such data, as well as other relevant authorities.

Privacy and security

MUENKA asks you for certain personal details (name, age, interests, email address and similar) in order to serve its customers better. This information, collected on MUENKA's servers, is used only within MUENKA for periodic campaign work, designing promotional activity based on customer profiles, and customer "classification" work aimed at avoiding unwanted email. MUENKA never shares the information collected through its forms with third parties without the knowledge or against the instructions of the person concerned, does not use it commercially for any purpose outside its activity, and does not sell it.

Customer information may only be disclosed to official authorities where those authorities request it and where disclosure is required under mandatory legislation in force.

All information a customer enters into the system is accessible and modifiable only by that customer; it is not possible for anyone else to access or change it. The credit card details requested on the payment page are never held on MUENKA's servers or on the servers of the companies serving it, in order to keep the security of our customers at the highest level. All payment transactions therefore take place between the bank and your computer through the MUENKA interface.

Use of cookies
