Privacy Policy

Data shared by visitors while using the corporate website belonging to MUENKA (MUENKA brand) (the "Company") may be processed by us in accordance with this privacy and cookie policy. As data controller, the Company takes the necessary technical and administrative measures to ensure an appropriate level of security, so that personal data is processed lawfully, protected against unlawful access and properly preserved.

Company activities are carried out in line with internal policies and rules prepared for the protection of personal data. Awareness work is carried out among employees regarding data protection legislation and these internal rules, and the necessary declarations and undertakings on confidentiality are obtained from employees and from those processing data on our behalf. Information security measures are applied to prevent unauthorised access to personal data, and the adequacy of those measures is reviewed periodically so that the data security system is continuously improved.

Personal data will not be transferred to a third person or company without the consent of the data subject, unless it falls within the processing conditions set out in Articles 5/2 and 6/3 of Law no. 6698. Where the Company works with other organisations in order to receive support services, it ensures that those organisations also comply with the Company's privacy standards and conditions. As required by law, records of all transactions carried out with our organisation by our employees and by the people to whom we supply products or services are kept completely, accurately and in a secure environment.

When the purposes for processing personal data come to an end, the data will be deleted, destroyed or anonymised by MUENKA on its own initiative or upon the application of the data subject, using the techniques available. Where personal data is deleted by these means, it is destroyed in a way that makes it impossible to use or recover it again.

Data processed in order to carry out the Company's activities is stored securely in physical or electronic form for an appropriate period. Where the data controller has a legitimate interest, personal data may be retained for the maximum period foreseen by legislation even after the purpose of processing and the periods set out in the relevant laws have ended, provided that this does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of data subjects. After that period ends, personal data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised according to the procedure described above.

The Company reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy without prior notice in order to keep it current and compliant with legislation. Where changes are made, the updated policy will be published on our website.

Cookie Policy

This site does not use cookies

As MUENKA (MUENKA brand), we set no cookies at all on our website at https://muenka.com/. Browsing the site writes nothing to your browser on our behalf.

There is no analytics tool, advertising pixel, social media tracker or third-party statistics software on the site. Every file, including the fonts, is served from our own server; while you view the pages your browser makes no request to any other domain.

That is why you will not see a cookie consent banner here — there is no cookie to consent to.

Information stored on your device

So that shopping works, some information is kept only on your device, in the browser's local storage. It is not sent to us, cannot be read by other sites, and is never used for advertising:

• Your basket — so it survives while you move between pages; created when you add an item.
• Your favourites — so you can mark pieces you like; created when you favourite a product.
• Your last order number — so the order tracking form fills itself in; created when you place an order.
• The coupon code you applied — so the discount is not lost while your basket is open; created when you apply a coupon. Only the code itself is kept; the amount is calculated on the server every time.

You can clear these from your browser settings at any time. Doing so only empties your basket and favourites; you can carry on using the site.

Under Personal Data Protection Law no. 6698 this data is processed without separate consent, as it is necessary for the formation and performance of the contract.

Information you send us

When you place an order, your name, phone number, email address and delivery address are processed so that the order can be prepared, shipped, invoiced and so that we can contact you. If you request a corporate invoice, your tax number and tax office are collected for the same purpose.

Back-in-stock alerts: If you ask to be notified about a sold-out piece, your email address is stored only to send you a single notification when that piece returns to stock. Your record is deleted the moment the notification is sent. The address is not used for marketing, is not added to any mailing list and is not shared with third parties. If you would like your record removed before the notification arrives, simply write to info@muenka.com.

Under Personal Data Protection Law no. 6698, order details are processed as necessary for the formation and performance of the contract, and back-in-stock alerts are processed upon your own request.

The payment step

On the payment page, card details are collected inside the secure frame of the payment provider PayTR. Your card details never reach our site and are never seen by us. At this step PayTR may set technically necessary cookies on its own domain for payment security and fraud prevention. These are an inseparable part of the payment service; PayTR's privacy policy is published on its own site.

Shipping and delivery

When your order is handed over for shipping, your name, phone number, email address, delivery address (including province, district and postcode), order number and order total are transferred to our contracted shipping service provider, and from there to the carrier that will carry your parcel, so that the shipment can be created.

This transfer is made solely to prepare, transport and deliver your parcel. The carrier uses your phone number and address to contact you during delivery. The transferred information is not used for marketing purposes, either by us or by these companies.

Once the shipment is created, the tracking number is returned to us; we send it to you by email and you can also see it on the order tracking page.

Under Article 5/2-c of Law No. 6698, this transfer is necessary for the performance of the contract and is therefore made without separate explicit consent. The privacy policies of our shipping service provider and of the carriers are published on their own websites. If you would like to know which companies your data is transferred to, you may request this by writing to info@muenka.com.

Anonymous counters

So that we can understand which pieces draw interest, an anonymous counter request is sent to our own server when you open a product page and when you add a product to your basket. That request contains only the product address and the type of action (view / add to basket).

These counters store no identifier, cookie, visitor number or IP address; records are kept as aggregate totals per day and per product, never per person. As a result no individual can be identified from this data. Opening the same product several times in one visit is counted once; your browser tab's temporary memory is used for this and it is cleared when you close the tab.

No third-party analytics tool, advertising pixel or tracker is used; including these requests, your browser never leaves our own domain.

If this policy changes

If a visitor analytics or advertising measurement tool that works at an individual level is added to the site in future, it will run only after your explicit consent has been obtained, and this text will be updated. You can follow changes from the last-updated date shown at the top.
